It all began 52 years ago on Saturday, November 23, 1963 with the broadcast of “An Unearthly Child” on the BBC.  Now, on November 23, 2015, we mark the 52nd anniversary of Doctor Who.

The Doctor, played by the late-great William Hartnell, was vastly different than the Time Lord we know today.  But, is he REALLY?

The Twelfth Doctor

Peter Capaldi’s version of the Doctor is more like, in my opinion, the First Doctor than any other. Perhaps this was done to separate him from his predecessor, Matt Smith? Perhaps or perhaps not. The Twelfth Doctor; however, has a fan base of his own.
