December brings about a holiday themed posted for Performance I Create. The following exceprt is taken from The Dreamer of Improbable Dreams.
The Dreamer of Improbable Dreams
I watch the news and listen to increasingly polarized points of view. I listen to political parties who increasingly share polarized points of view. I listen to (fill in the blank) who increasingly share polarized points of view. I think you get the idea. Many seem to focus on the differences and forget the similarities. This cycle of division often appears hopeless when hoping – no dreaming – if things will ever be better. But, what if..the improbable happens? What if we COULD be better? Am I the dreamer of Improbable Dreams?
I created an outline for this post and planned to share my advice for 2015. I would have encouraged myself and everyone to be thankful for not just the big things, but for the small and (seemingly) insignificant things, too. Yet, that post did not find it’s way from thought to the written word. (Being thankful, by the way, is very important and we should all be grateful.) I felt compelled to write this rather than the plan. (Isn’t it always best to go with your gut?)
Does that mean I have no advice for 2015?
No, it does not. Instead of advice, allow me to share with you my hope. Visit Performance I Create for the complete story of The Dreamer of Improbable Dreams.
