Married With Cattle

Television loves a comeback and the viewers love to rally behind cult favorites. We’ve seen successful television reboots (Battlestar Galactica) and continuations (Doctor Who, Dallas). I find myself asking in recent weeks if Fox had introduced audiences to a new breed of Bundys.  Only this time, It wasn’t Al Bundy – it was Cliven Bundy. Socially Speaking: 2000 V. 2014

I, along with my Co-Social Media Director, Susan Holland, have spent time recently working on a Social Media Toolkit for members of Mississippi SHRM. In doing this, what I found to be very interesting was the need to reprogram my mind and take myself back to 2009-2010 when my “social brain” wasn’t quite so plugged-into the network.  I had to learn to not-speak social and it made me wonder about how we speak today compared to just a few years ago.  Could someone in the year 2000 understand 2014 social speak? Saturday, Social Media & Skype

The Mississippi State Council of SHRM hosted the annual MSSHRM Leaders Retreat on February 15, 2014.  The State Council met on February 14th. Council members and Chapter leadership enjoyed a reception at the MSU Riley Center that afternoon. The evening ended with the group attending an orchestra performance; however, the end of the event weekend would be Saturday, Social Media & Skype. Read more
