WOW!! What a magnificent production. Preparing to attend for the first time, I certainly have a much better prospective of the MS SHRM conferences. Your bio indicates you were previously the Social Media Director — I can not imagine how you were able to leave that position — you are talented. Thanks for the preview.

    • Carolyn, thank you very much for the kind words. I am so glad you enjoyed the video. It was truly a labor of love. We have a great team on the Council and do try to present the very best Mississippi has to offer. Again, thank you! I look forward to you seeing first-hand our Southern Hospitality! As for the position, we had a very talented replacement in Susan Holland. That doesn’t mean I went away – I just took a few months sabbatical to recover from pneumonia and focus on HR blogging. I’ve kept in contact with our Directors and they know Mississippi SHRM is in my blood should something come available. In the meantime, it is connections like this that make what we do worthwhile. Thank you for speaking next week, for taking the time to watch the video and – most importantly – taking the time out of your schedule to reach out. It is greatly appreciated!!!

Good to see so many familiar faces from my time on the MSSHRM council from 98-02: Judy Nail, Jacquelyn Mack, Chris Byrd, and my former student Melissa Drennan.

    Good luck with the conference
